Mummy here is also struggling a bit with the kid-management bit and may not be able to handle orders so soon.

Announcement: New beginnings

New life. New beginnings.

Before that happens, s'Khor-a-hit! is going to take a break from t-shirt design and sales for a while.

Orders will be closed from today, 23 September to 30 October 2010.

Pre-orders will be taken from November onwards, but shipping time may vary.

We'd like to thank everyone for your support so far, and appreciate your understanding during this transition of welcoming a new addition into our family!

Ways to wear the boy's t-shirt

Who says little boys can't be fashionable too?
Here are some ways my customers have taken to wearing the t-shirts:

1) Wear it over a dark coloured long-sleeved t-shirt

2) Put it on normally and accessorise with a big smile!

3) Let your baby wear it as a long 'open' onesie (elder brother not included)

Thanks everyone for your support and great response regarding the new Unisex tees range. I've been busy with all the customisation pre-orders over the past week and rest assured, all your orders should be reaching you soon!

I've been having fun designing the characters for each of your t-shirts, even the challenging ones like "I want to be a Lion Dancer"! Sometimes it takes the ideas of children to remind us to keep dreaming, and that we should celebrate these ideals while we can! I hope that your kids like the t-shirts that will be so personal to them, and that you can keep them for years to come as a reminder of their childlike innocence even after they've grown up.

So here, I give you skhorahit's first batch of 'Story of My Favourites' t-shirts, with the stories all written by you...

p.s: I really apologise for the poor photo quality all round. It's unbelievably hard to get a good shot of white t-shirts under poor lighting and using a very old Sony Cybershot! I really need a good camera!!

The New s'Khor-a-Hit! Unisex / Boys Design is finally here!

Many of you have been asking, what about the boys? Well, it's finally here!

After a while of designing, deliberating and voting, we give you the new "A Story of My Favourites" Tee for toddlers/ kids!

Sticking to the same idea of personalisation, you get to choose your child's 'favourites' and add in snippets that reveal their character and idiosyncracies.

STEP 1) Fill in the blanks

The standard 'story' goes:

"Hi! My name is _____, and I like______. My Daddy & Mummy call me their _____. One day I want to be a _____, but now I'm just going to eat my favourite ______, with ______, my favourite toy."

with the base tee (only in white) looking like this:

You need to email me with whatever favourites and habits for me to design on to the tee. For example in the case of this ficticious little boy called Jayden:

STEP 2) Pick out a size for your kid.

Currently the tees come in 3 sizes:

Size 18 (9") - suitable for babies up to 18 months
Size 22 (11") - suitable for toddlers up to 3.5 years
Size 26 (13") - suitable for kids up to 6 years

STEP 3) Quote 'Pre-Order Opening Special' in your email to get this tee for the Promotional Price of $18 per t-shirt!

Due to the various customisation possibilities, "The Story of My Favourites" tee will retail between $18 - $22 depending on how complicated the designs are. However, if you pre-order from now till 15 July 2010, you only pay $18 regardless of design.

Please note that the t-shirts will only be able to be shipped out after 15 July 2010.

The latest charms for little princess are sweet, pretty and have a quirky side to them. Who says girls are only about all things sweetie-pie? Blue elephants and bananas? Bring them on!

I've finally scanned in one of my first Charm Series, it's Part I of the "Desserts" series, featuring 3 types of yummy ice-creams.

Size: Fits approx 2.5x2.5cm square

Price: $0.50 each

Remember to quote the Name of the charm and it's number in the series when ordering! Also please feel free to request for alternative colours in your email if you want other flavoured ice-creams! :)

Charm Necklace Tees

It's here! s'khorahit's debut Charm Necklace Tees collection. This soft-launch features baby and toddler t-shirts imprinted with an original hand-drawn necklace design as the base, and a variety of charms that you can personalise for your child. The best thing is that it is 100% hand-drawn and there are NO DANGEROUS BITS that will fall off and be a potential choking hazard. Wear the bling without the sting!

How this works

Step 1) Choose which colour tee you'd like. At the moment, tees come in black and white only.

Step 2) Now you've got the base tee, choose a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 charms from our list of themed charms.

Step 3) Email us at skhor.a.hit[AT]gmail[DOT]com with your choices, and indicate the charm colour preferences if you wish. We will try our best to work with you to make your kid's tee completely individual!

You may wish to refer to our payment and delivery section for more details.

In the meantime, have a look at some of the end products made for our first 3 customers:

Black: Blue Elephant, Bananas & 'Z' for Lizzie

White: 'K', Happy Flower, Yellow Chick for Baby Kath

Baby Tee Size 18, for 6-12 months

Toddler Tee Size 22, for Ages 2.5 to 3yo.

We apologise that for now, we only stock two sizes, Size 18 and 22, however please let us know your required size and we will try our best to arrange it!

Tees are all 100% cotton and charms are 100% hand-painted with fabric/acrylic paint in a smoke-free home.

A New Beginning

OK, this blog has been in disrepair for a whole year. My last post was in January this year and now it's already coming to December 2009.

I've been busy but not all that inspired. Come next year, I hope this will change.

I'm busying myself with the prepartions for a big revamp, and a big project. So:
